Get on the NY State Thruway (I-87).
In New York City, I-87 is called the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx.
Follow the Thruway to Albany.
Important: Get off at Exit 24 in Albany. (After this, the NY State Thruway becomes I-90 and turns west towards Buffalo.)
After the toll barrier, get on the Adirondack Northway (I-87) north.
Follow the Adirondack Northway (I-87) north to Schroon Lake, Exit 28 (milepost 89).
Turn right, then immediately right again onto US 9.
Go 1 mile south on US 9.
Rowe's Adirondack Cabins of Schroon Lake will be on the left, just past the NY State Police station.
From Albany & Saratoga (All Points South)
Follow the Adirondack Northway (I-87) north to Schroon Lake, Exit 28 (milepost 89).
Turn right, then immediately right again onto US 9.
Go 1 mile south on US 9.
Rowe's Adirondack Cabins of Schroon Lake will be on the left, just past the NY State Police station.
From the North Via Adirondack Northway
Follow the Adirondack Northway (I-87) south to North Hudson, Exit 28 (milepost 89).
Turn left at the end of the exit, heading east.
Proceed to US 9 at the flashing light.
Turn right onto US 9 and go 1 mile south.
Rowe's Adirondack Cabins of Schroon Lake will be on the left, just past the NY State Police station.
From Southeastern Vermont
Follow US 4 south/west from Rutland until you reach NY Route 149 in Fort Ann, New York.
Turn right onto NY 149.
Follow NY 149 to US 9, just south of Lake George.
Turn right onto US 9.
Follow US 9 north for about 4 miles to Exit 21 at NY 9N.
Get on the Northway (I-87) there and head north for about 30 miles to Exit 28.
From Central Vermont
Take the Champlain Bridge from Addison, VT and follow NY 185 west to Crown Point.
Follow NY 9N/22 south to Ticonderoga and the junction of Route 74 (about 17 miles).
Turn right and follow Route 74 west from Ticonderoga, up the large hill, to the flashing red light at US 9 in Schroon Lake (about 20 miles).
Turn left onto US 9.
Go 1 mile south on US 9.

From Northern Vermont
Take US 7 south from Burlington, VT to Vergennes, VT.
Pick up VT 22A south towards Addison.
Take VT 17 to the Champlain Bridge and into Crown Point.
In Crown Point, take NY 22/9N south to Ticonderoga and the junction of NY 74 west.
Turn left onto NY 74 west.
Follow NY 74 west up the large hill to the flashing red light at US 9 in Schroon Lake (about 20 miles).
Turn left onto US 9.
Go 1 mile south on US 9.

From Montreal
Take PQ 15 south from Montreal to the US border.
Continue on the Adirondack Northway (I-87) south.
Follow I-87 south to North Hudson, Exit 28 (milepost 89).
Turn left at the end of the exit, heading east.

Turn right onto US 9.
Go 1 mile south on US 9.
